Moth Pavilion at Clerkenwell Design Week

by Rob

This year’s Conversations at Clerkenwell will be held within Moth Pavilion, a lightweight, recycled fabric canopy, which rests between the trees of Spa Fields Park, supported by tubular steel legs. The canopy spans the pavilion floor protecting attendees from the spring weather and oversails the structure, providing opportunity for passers-by to pause.

Moth Pavilion has been designed by studioDA, the design and research office set up by Pereen d’Avoine and Nilesh Shah (Russian for Fish) and Pierre d’Avoine (Pierre d’Avoine Architects).

We are a team of makers, theorists and creators, connected by our pursuit of architecture that is innovative, crafted and above all humane.

Our approach is pragmatic, rational, and collaborative with clients and consultants in order to seek out the best and most appropriate response to brief and context.

London is our home, however we operate internationally as a highly qualified, diverse, experienced and motivated team with work in Africa, the Caribbean,

East Asia, Europe, Russia and the UK.
