We are a small team producing handmade architectural ceramics (in red and buff terracottas) and glazed ware to a client’s specifications for a world wide audience, for restoration, renovation and new builds.
All our pieces are made at No 9 Studio and Mole Cottage. All of our chimney pots including the Dragon Chimney Pot created by Marek Drzazga are made on site as well as our full range of Heraldic Beasts; Phoenix, Griffin, Hounds along with Crosses, Celtic Crosses, Ball and Spire and all manner of Finials. We also design and manufacture Ceramic Murals for Interiors and Exteriors, for Hotel Lobbies and Swimming Pool areas, with some of our designs on display at Mole Cottage.
We’ve also Landscaped a Giant Chess Set into the terraced Gardens here at Mole Cottage, so come and see one before you buy – they’re all made from Frost proof Terra Cottas so ours is left out all year around.
Our Consultancy business (hand making for the Industry, where we train your workforce) is also based out of Mole Cottage, so we can either come to you or for a more in depth training, deliver the training here, at our modern studios in the magical Roverside setting of the Mole Valley.
We also offer Pottery Breaks and Raku Weekends at Mole Cottage, where you are winded and dined for a fully residential Pottery Course beyond compare. Times to suit you or your party, throughout the year.
We are a small team producing handmade Architectural Ceramics in Red and Buff Terracottas and Glazed Ware to client’s specifications for a world wide audience for Restoration and Renovation and New Build.
Our range is as vast as your imagination, from Phoenix Ridge Finials on the Tesco Superstore in Lewes, through the “Splat Team” – a group of Dragon Chimney Pots, with Mum teaching her brood to fly – on a private dwelling on Long Island, to Castellated Chimney Pots on a Curling Stadium in Japan, and Black Glazed Mathematical Tiles for Larry Olivier’s old home in the Royal Crescent in Brighton, The Risen Christ, Holy Family Murals and Stations of the Cross for St. Edmund Campion RC Church in Maidenhead, repairs of the Band Stand Terra Cotta figures in Birmingham . . .
Being small has its advantages, as we can make our lead in times very speedy in most cases, as for the two Octagonal Chimney Pots required in 4 weeks, which we turned around in 25 days, but it has a downside that sometimes there are delays due to pressure of work and running repairs, but we always try our best to accommodate even the tightest of times. Our prices are also very realistic and surprisingly affordable even though all our work is bespoke.
If you can imagine it, we can make it!
