STIEBEL ELTRON UK has been listed for the third consecutive year as one of the top companies across the country to work for in the construction, engineering, and property sector.

The leading supplier of renewable heating technology was ranked at number 30 in the Great Place to Work 2026 under the UK’s Best Workplaces for Construction, Engineering & Property.

Some 90% percent of staff gave it top billing as a ‘great place to work’, compared to 54% of employees at a typical UK company.

Reacting to the recognition, STIEBEL ELTRON UK Managing Director John Felgate praised the contribution of employees to the company who have made it one of the driving forces behind renewable heating technologies in the UK.

Great Place to Work is a global authority on workplace culture and uses employee surveys to help guide organisations in building a strong work environment.

Its certification process captures valuable employee feedback using its research-driven Trust Index™ survey, as well as acquiring details about the organisation’s programmes and practices.

Listed in the UK Small to medium category, 100 percent of employees said STIEBEL ELTRON treated them fairly regardless of race or gender, gave them the resources to do their job, created a safe environment, and provided facilities for a good working environment.

As well as identifying trust and fairness within the company, workers highlighted how they wanted long and established careers at the company, as well as how they are proud to work for the organisation.

John Felgate said: “Being recognised as one of the top companies to work for in the sector for the third year in a row is a testament to the fantastic workforce we have at STIEBEL ELTRON – they are the driving force behind everything we do.

“As we look to make a positive difference in the construction, engineering, and property sector, seeing this excellent feedback shows we are making the right moves, creating an environment where our employees can thrive and contribute to the industry.

“I’d like to thank everyone at STIEBEL ELTRON for their superb work and fantastic attitude which makes the company such a unique and special place to work.”

The award comes as STIEBEL ELTRON continues to develop its facilities and offering to the UK’s renewable heating market, positioning itself as a leading force in the adoption of heat pumps, combining cutting-edge technology with comprehensive training for installers.

As part of this commitment, STIEBEL ELTRON UK expanded its training centre in 2024 at its Wirral headquarters to double its capacity, transforming a 20,000 sq. ft unit into a state-of-the-art training facility.

Since summer 2025, the hpnext series has formed a core part of the STIEBEL ELTRON UK offering, bringing to market a new generation of highly efficient, ultra-quiet heat pumps.

The range includes an air source heat pump range, a ground source heat pump range, and an integrated internal air source heat pump with MVHR, with all models using R290 refrigerant and featuring a wide range of design and functional upgrades that have marked a significant step forward in heat pump technology.
