Cameron Design House Seeks Volunteers to Make Face Shields for the NHS

by Francesca

In response to the Coronavirus crisis, London-based bespoke lighting brand Cameron Design House has turned over production in its workshop to manufacture free protective face fields for the NHS and care workers.

Since launching production one week ago, the team at Cameron Design House has distributed over 2000 face shields to more than 30 hospitals across London and has purchased a new laser cutter to increase production.

Inundated with requests for over 60,000 shields from health care professionals around the UK, Cameron Design House is now appealing for London-based volunteers to help to make face shields from home.

To get involved please email Katie@camerondesignhouse.com with your mobile number and an address where the volunteering packs will need to be delivered to. Cameron Design House will provide all the materials and instructions needed to make up the face shields, which will be delivered directly to your door.

The small team in the workshop producing protective face shields and volunteer packs are adhering to the strict government guidelines.
