Award-winning design and fit-out specialists, DSP Interiors Ltd have completed the design and fit out of new offices for global consulting and engineering firm the RPS Group at Pentagon House in Derby.
The company, which is located on Mansfield Road in the city, was appointed by RPS Group to carry out a key CAT B project involving the bespoke design and fit-out of their new third floor workspace.
RPS Group, which is now part of Tetra Tech, operates in 125 countries and has 5,000 consultants and service providers. As a result, the company needed a partner that could deliver a state-of-the-art design and fit out, incorporating the latest in agile office design principles to create a flexible and dynamic workplace.
The team at DSP Interiors has transformed the vacant third floor into a bespoke facility, creating a professional, contemporary, and aesthetically pleasing workspace which will foster innovation and collaboration.
The scope of the work undertaken encompassed the installation of solid and glass partitions, acoustic slat walls, a feature bespoke timber diving wall, decoration, branding, Kitchen fittings and furniture.
A combination of enclosed, semi-enclosed and touch-down meeting spaces were incorporated; supporting staff in a variety of scenarios and assisting with task based, focused and team based work. Individual staff lockers and storage planters were also included to break up the space, provide partial privacy and inject some biophilia into the offices.
